Use this process to rollover your Topics from a previous year, or to add Topics to one of your sections that were created and shared to the Topic Bank by another teacher.
1. Once you log in to My Marlborough, go to your "Group" tab and select "Find More." From here, change the year from 2019-2020 to 2018-2019. Last years' classes and any topics you built should now be visible.
2. At the top of your saved topic box, you will need to select the share icon :
and then select "Add to Topic Bank," which will enable you to pull the corresponding topics into your 2019-2020 classes.
To share with a specific faculty member or class, you will need to select the share icon again, then select "Share with Individual Class Section," and then select the faculty member and class you wish to share the topic with.
3. Change the year back to 2019-2020 in your "Group" tab, go to your classes and select the class you wish to import topics into. Then, enter edit mode and select "Import."
Choose the topics you wish to import from “My Topics” or "Topic Bank" to find topics that you or colleagues created and made searchable from 2018-2019. If your topics are not showing up, please refer back to the first 3 steps. Then, select the class and section that you are sharing from and the topics that you wish to import, or “Select All” to select all topics from a specific class. You can also share to multiple sections by selecting the classes in the “Share Amongst Sections” portion at the bottom of the page. Change the publish date to reflect when you want your topics to appear. Make sure you click "Save."
